Consular Services
The Embassy in Prague is responsible for providing consular
services (Manual Passport, Visa, NICOP, POC etc.) to Pakistani
nationals, Czech citizens and nationals of other countries
residing in Czech Republic. Besides, attestation of documents
(power of attorney, birth certificate, marriage certificates etc)
and renunciation of Pakistani nationality are processed by the
Embassy.
Visa to the Third Country Origin Foreigners
Grant of visa to nationals belonging to third country is
restricted to holders of valid residence permit. Request for visas
of a THIRD COUNTRY origin shall be decided only after personal
interview.
Visa to NGO Personnel
The cases of NGO duty visa shall be issued after clearance from
Ministry of Interior. Extension of visas/stay of foreigners working
in NGOs will be authorized by Ministry of Interior.

Visa Services
Visa section is open from Monday to Friday (except listed
holidays). Timing : 0900hrs - 1200hrs

Visa is liable to be cancelled if information requested in
the form is withheld or found to be incorrect.

Czech nationals not resident in Czech Republic should apply
for Visa in their respective country of residence.

Other national should apply for visa from their countries of
origin.

Visitors to Czech Republic are not entertained for grant of
Visas.

Visa is usually given with 4 working days. Delays, however,
can occur due to circumstances beyond the Embassy’s control,
especially where a reference has to be made to
Pakistan.

Business Visa
Requirements
Important
announcement 
Established businessmen from Czech
Republic are now allowed to avail Visa On Arrival (VOA)
facility on international airports in Pakistan, with effect
from 1 February 2005. VOA is a single entry facility for a maximum
of 30 days stay in Pakistan, and will be issued to a business person
at arrival on production of the following documents:

Organization duly recommended by the concerned Trade Organization
/ Association in Pakistan OR
- Recommendation letter either by the Pakistani Commercial
Counselor posted at Pakistan Mission abroad or the Honorary

Expedition/Trekking Permit
Requirements
-
The applications will be processed
by the Ministry of Tourism Government of Pakistan which must be
submitted through tour operators in Pakistan. A certain amount of
royalty is charged in such cases. However, all peaks rising upto
6500 meters are free from any fees or permits. Once the NOC
/Permit is accorded by the Ministry of Tourism, wherever
applicable, the visa will be issued by the Embassy. For detailed

Journalist Visa
Visas to non-based foreign
journalists are granted upto three months for Islamabad, Lahore and
Karachi subject to approval by competent authorities in Pakistan.
For further extension, journalist concerned may apply to the
Ministry of Interior, Islamabad at least three weeks prior to expiry
of the visa

Pakistan. However the old passports will remain valid for sometime.
Please also note that the Embassy is still issuing passports
according to the old system. Any change in this regard will be
notified in due course.

Miscellaneous/Attestations
The documents needing attestations can be submitted at consular
office from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. during the working days i.e.
Monday-Friday. The attested documents are returned
to the applicants after two hours of submission of documents. The
following documents in original as well as the copies of these
documents are not attested by the Embassy. The documents are:

of Attorney/ Affidavit/ Divorce Papers/other
documents - All such documents for
Pakistani Nationals only i.e either holders of valid Pakistani
Passports or NICOP have to be signed by the persons issuing them in
the presence of an authorized officer of the Embassy. If the
individual is unable to come to the Embassy in person, the document
must be got attested first from a Notary Public and then from the
Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All Czech Nationals (Czech/Alien
Passport holders) are required to first have their documents
attested by Notary Public and then by the Czech Ministry of Foreign
Affairs before bringing them to Embassy for attestation. They are
not required to present themselves for signing and can even send
them by post after payment of prescribed fee, which is double than
that of Pakistani Nationals. - These documents should also be
signed by two witnesses, who are not relatives of the person signing
the authorization. Full names with complete addresses and telephone
numbers of both the witnesses should be clearly indicated under
their signatures. - Original Passports and Identity Cards of the
applicants (along with their photo copies) All Commercial Documents
for attestation should also be verified form the Czech Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, in advance.
Papers for transfer of dead bodies to
Pakistan The Embassy can attest the
following documents in respect of a deceased Pakistani national
living in Czech Republic. - Death Certificate of the
Hospital - Clearance Certificate of the concerned
Municipality/Commune - Passport of the deceased
'Nikah Nama' (Marriage
Certificate) - The document should
first be got attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in
Pakistan - The Embassy can verify the Ministry's
attestation
Fees
Normal fee for attestation is US$ 10.00 for Pakistani
nationals. Fee for the other nationals is US$ 30.00 per
document.
